La Casa Dominicana Of
NJ is joining the Atlantic City Public Library several non-profit
organizations, local businesses and the general public for the eighth year to
put together our annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. We celebrate
diversity, the Hispanic culture and recognize their valuable contribution to
our country.
September
15 is significant because it is the anniversary of Independence of seven Latin
American countries: Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico
and Nicaragua. The city of Atlantic City is a multi-cultural and multi racial
society.
Please, save the
date on Tuesday, September 15th from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm at the
Police and Firemen’s Memorial Plaza between City Hall and the Public Library.
We are going to enjoy
artistic presentations, dances and costumes free for
the public in attendance.
